UCR EPIC Alumni Inviscid Acquired by Rethink First: the University of California, Riverside (UCR) has an entrepreneurial and startup incubation program called Entrepreneurial Proof of Concept Center (EPIC). In Sep 2021, a UCR EPIC alumni startup called Inviscid, a SaaS solution for autism-related medical consultants, was acquired by Rethink First. This shows EPICβs capability to help commercialize and graduate new startups.

Inland Empire Created a Greater Number of Jobs Than It Lost During the Pandemic: The Inland Empire has gained back all of the employment/jobs lost due to the COVID-19 problem. Rather than a net loss, the region has grown total payroll employment since the pandemic initially threw global labor markets into disarray.
Cheaper Housing, Booming e-Commerce, and Big-Box Supply Chain Rescue the Inland Empire from Recession: Inland Empire has a resilient economy because of the three main factors; Cheaper housing, booming e-commerce, and supply chain centers. It is significantly more affordable than living in coastal areas. The rise of online shopping and fulfillment centers has also caused a boom in the economy of the Inland Empire.
