The new Oak Tree Mountain Slide is officially open. This American Flag-themed attraction is impressive, with nine lanes over 350 feet long and a Magic Carpet lift to the top.

The “biggest slide in America,” the Oak Tree Mountain Slide, was created by Mike Lyon, the proprietor of Oak Tree Mountain, and has been under construction for almost three years.

Additionally, Common Ground Public House, a distinctive bar and dining establishment with an inclusive theme where everyone is welcome to “find common ground,” has been launched by Oak Tree Mountain. Visitors may unwind and partake of refreshments while watching sledders attempt Oak Tree Mountain’sMountain’s newest and best attraction from the outdoor beer garden at the bottom of the slope.

“After seeing delays from COVID and no less than two local forest fires, we are excited that this attraction is finally ready for everyone to experience.”

Said Mike Lyon, Owner

Throughout the summer, the Oak Tree Mountain Slide is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and from 12 to 5 on Thursdays and Fridays.

Other Entertainment Places to Visit in The Inland Empire

The Inland Empire is the Hub of Entertainment. There are many other entertainment places to visit here. Some of them are as under:

California Citrus State Historic Park (Riverside)

Go to California Citrus State Park if you’d instead learn about the local history. Visitors may take a glimpse back at life in Southern California at the turn of the 20th century on this citrus estate, which is now a state historic site. A tourist center is also part of this “park within a park” in the middle of the citrus fields.

Mission Inn Hotel & Spa (Riverside)

Frank Miller first launched the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in 1876. It has developed into the National Historic Landmark that it is now over time.

Additionally, it’s the ideal setting for celebrating an important event!

March Field Air Museum (Riverside)

The March Field Air Museum has an extensive collection of antique uniforms and military relics in addition to approximately 80 aircraft. The docents are excellent, and there are both inside and outdoor displays. It’s among the top things to do in the IE for airplane-loving youngsters (and adults!).

Southern California Railway Museum (Perris)

An excellent spot to visit is the Southern California Railway Museum in Perris. Visitors to this museum get the chance to climb into vintage railcars and experience life on the railroad in the past.

TopGolf Entertainment Group Enters the Inland Empire

Startempire Wire also reported that on Friday, March 11, 2022, Topgolf Entertainment Group, a contemporary, technology-enabled entertainment firm, launched its first location in the Greater Los Angeles region.

Topgolf’sTopgolf’s 75th worldwide site, located off I-10 in Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park, welcomes residents from all parts of the Inland Empire and San Bernardino County to enjoy Topgolf’sTopgolf’s trademark, technology-savvy multi-level enjoyment experience.

Ontario Great Park: An Upcoming Hub of Entertainment

We also reported in January that Ontario plans to build a 370-acre new city park, reports Steve Scauzillo. Known as The Great Park, the proposed project is approximately 340 acres with a length of 3.7 miles, encompasses roughly 400 acres, and extends over 3-1/2 miles.

Inland Empire’sEmpire’s Entertainment Industry: Still Underdeveloped

According to the report by the Brookings Institute in 2019, the entertainment industry in the Inland Empire is still underdeveloped. The wages earned by the workforce associated with the entertainment industry were below-average income. Check out the complete and official report here.Β

This has been a phenomenal year for the San Bernardino region, and that reality is reflected in this great win for the county. The new development will attract many to this area and open up a unique experience for families and tourists alike.
