The city of Murrieta announced on Monday, October 4th, that its business incubator Murrieta innovation Center had signed its first foreign startup. The Murrieta Innovation Center, located at 26442 Beckman Court, is home to 13 American startups. Now, the Dutch company Super Family has also joined the other 13.
- The Murrieta Innovation Center supports new and innovative companies focused on Healthcare Technologies. Super Family is one such startup, and MIC will now serve as its base.

Murrieta Innovation Center
Murrieta City founded the Murrieta Innovation Center (MIC) in 2012. In 2020 MIC was given management by a nearby nonprofit organization called Impact Southwest Riverside County.
MIC supports entrepreneurs to help them launch and expand their enterprises by providing them with several facilities, including:
- A clean room.
- Wet and dry lab.
- Conference space.
- Networking opportunities and tools.
MIC Joins Hands with Super Family
MIC has joined hands with Super Family because new life-science businesses are the main focus of the Murrieta Innovation Center. The goal is to support the fledgling firms as they develop into thriving enterprises that offer high-paying jobs to Southwest Riverside County.
What’s Super Family?
Super Family is a healthcare organization focusing on social development, mental healthcare, and educational help. It also supports the creation of innovative techniques, research, and activities for families.
Children with developmental language disorders and non-visible impairments make up most of the venture’s target clientele.
The First Foreign Startup to Join MIC
Super Family is the first foreign startup to join MIC’s incubator, and the Murrieta Innovation Center is pleased to welcome them. Their emphasis on social and emotional growth fits with the center’s mission to help businesses provide essential services in our community.
Mental healthcare is a crucial growing business. Super Family has developed a cutting-edge method to support kids who struggle with developmental language disorder and many other issues in a child-centric setting.
Murrieta Innovation Center Hosted “Evening of Innovation”
MIC has always been doing its best to support and showcase life sciences startups. Startemire wire also reported that on June 14th, (MIC) hosted the second Evening of Innovation at South Coast Winery.
This event featured presentations from 12 life sciences startups incubating at the MIC.

Riverside County Serving as the Major Support to Uplift MIC
Riverside County has staked a claim to being a leader in innovation. It has been a haven for inventors throughout history. 13 Innovation Centers in Riverside helped the county secure its spot on the innovation map.

Funding From the County to Support MIC
Riverside county has never stayed back when it comes to supporting entrepreneurship. The Economic Development Administration (EDA) of Riverside County also awarded the $2.4 million grant to renovate the Murrieta Innovation Center and to create a life science business incubator.
