California Venues Grant Program Application Deadline Extended by 30 Days Last month Startempire Wire reported that “Lendistry would manage a new round of grants to assist independent live venues in California that generate most of their income from ticket sales. The California Venues Grant Program, which Lendistry administered in October and November of 2021, is returning for a new round. CA Venues Grant application window has been extended by 30 days! It’s the best time for performing arts venues, museums, independent movie theaters, and event organizations to apply.

EDC Valley of Innovation Pre-Location Assistance Program EDC Valley of Innovation has been in the industry for 32 years. It specializes in Nonprofit Organization Management and has its headquarters in Temecula, California. It recently launched a Pre-location Assistance program exclusively for EDC members. It supports local employers in attracting and retaining top talent for their hardest-to-fill positions by helping newly recruited families feel welcomed in their new homes.

Visit Greater Palm Springs (VGPS) Partners with Caravanserai Project to Support Entrepreneurs Visit Greater Palm Springs Tourism (VGPS) has partnered with the Caravanseari Project. Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs in Coachella Valley’s hospitality and tourism industry can receive micro-grants and training opportunities. The microgrants can reach up to $7,500, and the program aims to widen the circle of opportunities for the community while providing skills and knowledge to help small businesses grow.

The next business-readiness training program begins on March 13, and an information session is available on February 8.

City of Indio’s Building Beautification Program The City of Indio’s administration launched a Building Beautification Program. Miguel Ramirez-Cornejo, Business Development Manager City of Indio, announced it. The Program offers financial support to eligible applicants, up to Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000).

Wing Zone Opens a New Restaurant in Redlands, San Bernardino Wing Zone, a Las Vegas-based American chain of restaurants specializing in chicken wings, opened its new location in Redlands, San Bernardino. The branch opened at Lugonia Ave. on February 9 as the restaurant brand brings its 18 award-winning flavors to the Inland Empire with its signature fast wings, tenders, and fries. The Redlands location is the 32nd nationally and first brick-and-mortar location in the Inland Empire, with several expanding throughout the Golden State.

Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce Announces 57th Annual Awards Gala The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce announced the 57th Annual Awards Gala. It will take place Saturday, March 25, 2022, at Pechanga Resort & Casino. The annual awards honor exceptional businesses, service/charitable organizations, and individuals. Some of the key attractions of the event include a champagne reception, silent auction, gourmet dinner, awards presentation, and entertainment.
