Fundings to Strengthen OASIS
OASIS received two grants from the State of California for $15 million and $47 million to find and secure a site to establish the OASIS Clean Tech Park. The clean park makes up the first implementation phase of the OASIS Innovation Hub.
OASIS has already attracted the support of many local and regional partners who recognize the transformative economic potential of this initiative. Federal Community Initiative Funding decided to contribute $1.5 million to the project.
What is the OASIS Accelerator?
The OASIS Accelerator is a component of the larger OASIS initiative. It aims to increase opportunities for Inland Empire innovators and entrepreneurs, particularly those from underrepresented groups.
With OASIS Accelerator, underrepresented communities can build sustainability and climate technology-based startups with significant societal impact.
OASIS Accelerator: Aiming to Build an Inclusive Entrepreneurship Accelerator
Through the development of the OASIS Accelerator, a connected network of cutting-edge test beds, pilot facilities, and specialized, integrated business support are all in one program.
The project aims to establish and expand a sustainability-focused innovation ecosystem in the Inland Empire.
A single point of access to all materials, test sites, laboratory facilities, and professional help on how to use them will be made accessible through this effort.
With the help of the OASIS Initiative and OASIS Accelerator, companies can access a diversified talent pool of technical and business specialists.
They can also use the research excellence and entrepreneurial initiatives of UCR and its partners.
UCR Gets $1.9M from The James Irvine Foundation
