A New and Ideal Location
The first Sprouts Farmers Market is opening a new location in Victor Valley.
The new Sprouts location will occupy the 18,600-square-foot structure that once housed Toys “R” Us on Amargosa Road in Victorville. The building is located in a retail center with anchor tenants like 99 Cents Only, Party City, Get Air, and Hobby Lobby.
Sprouts Farmers Markets #469 is listed as the tenant on a December 21 Alcohol Beverage Control notice posted on the structure.
“Grocery stores are essential to a healthy and vibrant community, and this Sprouts location is coming to an area that is booming with growth and prime for expanded services,” Surprise Mayor Skip Hall said in a statement. “I am happy to know residents will have access to the fresh meal options Sprouts provides.”

Rescued Organics by Sprouts Farmers
Sprouts also launched a program called Rescued Organics in its California locations to reduce edible food loss on farms. This program will bring unsatisfactory produce to market that would otherwise be discarded or abandoned on fields, reducing food waste and offering consumers value through reduced prices.
Besides providing clients access to affordable fresh food and promoting sustainability, the initiative supports farmers in a challenging economic climate.
These products will be available at all 130 Sprouts locations throughout the Golden State. Customers can select from at least 12 different varieties of defective food as the program is implemented, including potatoes, onions, grapefruit, lemons, oranges, pears, carrots, kiwi, and bell peppers.
