We Covered this in our Weekly Wire Round up

The Coachella Valley is just two hours from Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Tucson — and that’s just driving time. Factor in the convenience of a private jet or helicopter, and you can be here in less time.

The arrival at Palm Springs International Airport conveys a sense of your successful conference in Greater Palm Springs. Passengers opt for a peaceful open-air promenade via outdoor walkways and lushly manicured courtyards with gardens, water features, and original artwork instead of the long lines and wait hours found at most airports arriving at their meeting place fresh and relaxed.

Palm Springs International Airport was designated one of the “Top 10 Stress-Free Airports in America” by Smartertravel.com, partly because of its serene ambiance.

Airports in the Area

Meetings travelers have four major airport options within a two-hour drive or less from Greater Palm Springs if connecting with another Southern California destination is much more feasible.

With an average of 64 daily departures offered by eight air carriers, the full-service airport provides commercial jet service to around 18 major airports in the United States, Mexico, and Taiwan and connects to many domestic and international destinations.

  • Ontario International Airport (ONT) (1 hour 15-minute drive)
  • John Wayne Airport (SNA) – located in Orange County, California (1 hour 30-minute drive)
  • Los Angeles International Airport, aka LAX – the largest airport in the United States (2-hour drive)
