CSUSB is Recognized for Exceptional Education
USNWR explains why it decided to extend its ranking methodology to online programs. Today’s consumers are clamoring for information on online degrees since “online learning is integral to all sorts of education, including higher education.”
USNWR emphasizes that it ranks programs rather than individual colleges. Additionally, only programs that are “predominantly online degree programs, from entry to completion” are included in the rankings. Programs that briefly went online, such as those for COVID-19 purposes, should be listed.
The Best Online Programs rankings, according to USNWR, ultimately examine whether online degree programs have academic standards commensurate with great brick-and-mortar programs that are adequately geared toward the particular pedagogy of distance education.
