The motto of Bourns Family Youth Innovation Center is CREATE, which stands for Computers, Robotics, Engineering, Art, and Technology. The center offers robotics, programming, coding, and web design lessons.

About half of the classes are free. For Riverside residents, annual memberships cost $25 for adults and $15 for children 18 and under. For non-Riverside residents, the price is $37.50 for adults and $22.50 for children.

The innovation center invited children to visit the facility at the end of last year. Students can tour the new Bourns Family Youth Innovation Center while learning to develop a website with multiple pages.

The innovation center provides opportunities to visitors by introducing them to professionals and services that will promote and enhance learning to increase the likelihood of life-long success. The focus is to prepare students and young ones for success by providing a safe environment that fosters collaboration, learning, and creativity.
