The 2022 State of Riverside County will unite local leaders to discuss issues impacting the county’s local government and regional economy. The five County districts, County initiatives, and County projects will be highlighted at the occasion.

Key Takeaway:

About Riverside County

Few places can match Riverside County’s diversity, with its rivers, mountains, deserts, and lush valleys. More than two million people call Riverside County home and enjoy the accessible homes, neighboring mountains, beaches, hiking and biking trails, Temecula Wine Country, and resorts that provide desert oases.

The county is attempting to diversify its economy beyond the housing sector, which has long been the foundation of the local economy. Highways, airports, and train connections all assist Southern California’s maritime connection to Asia, which is a crucial link for the State of California and the rest of the country.

Riverside County Office of the Economic Development

The Office of Economic Development (OED) of the County of Riverside assists business expansion or growth.

To promote development and create assets in communities all around the county, it collaborates with approximately 75 economic development organizations. Riverside County has several motivations to open new locations or expand existing ones.

The Office of Economic Development effectively collaborates to develop resources and information support for:

  • COVID-19 Resources for business.
  • Zones of Opportunity.
  • Encouragement for business.
  • Education possibilities.
  • Financing.
  • Programs for online learning.
