  • Moducan Corporation and Hello Computer, Inc. were the Coachella Valley Fast Pitch competition winners. Guy Assif, CEO of Moducan Corporation, donated his $750 prize to CVEP to support young entrepreneurs and will represent Coachella Valley at the Riverside County Fast Pitch Finale. Rossana Jeran, Co-founder and CEO of Hello Computer, Inc., won second place and donated her $250 prize to CVEP.
  • Winners of the Greater Corona Fast Pitch competitions include 1st is Guavah, 2nd is GenInnovation, and 3rd PPC Ad Editor.
  • The remaining events in the Riverside Innovation Month in April include the 2023 Riverside City Fast Pitch Competition, the Inland Empire Chapter of the National Academy of Inventors launch, and the Innovation Month Fast Pitch Finale.
  • On Thursday, April 27, 2023, there will be a Riverside County Fast Pitch Finale in Riverside, where the total awards will be over $15,000.

Riverside County, known for its long-standing research excellence and innovation tradition, is gearing up to celebrate its annual Innovation Month. The month-long celebration aims to showcase the region’s many areas of innovation and entrepreneurship, focusing on agriculture, climate technology, healthcare, and sustainable transportation.

The County of Riverside Office of Economic Development and the University of California, Riverside, the Riverside Community College District, cities, educational institutions, private businesses, and related organizations are bringing Innovation Month to the County.

Greater Corona Fast Pitch Winners

Here are the winners of the Greater Corona Fast Pitch competition. Corona Pitch Grand prize was $3000.

Coachella Valley Fast Pitch Winner

Below are the two winners of the Coachella Valley Fast Pitch competition.

Guy Assif, CEO of Moducan Corporation, won the startup pitch competition and donated his $750 prize to CVEP to support young entrepreneurs. Assif chose not to accept his award of $750 and instead gave it to CVEP to help young individuals pursuing entrepreneurship.

As the first-place winner, he will represent Coachella Valley at the Riverside County Fast Pitch Finale with total awards exceeding $15,000.

Rossana Jeran, Co-founder and CEO of Hello Computer, Inc., won second place and donated her $250 prize to CVEP. Hello Computer, Inc. is a client company of the Palm Desert iHub.

Upcoming Events in April

1. 2023 Riverside City Fast Pitch Competition

Innovation Month includes various events and activities designed to promote entrepreneurship and innovation, focusing on sustainability. This year’s celebration will kick off with the 2023 Riverside City Fast Pitch Competition on April 21st from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The competition will allow entrepreneurs to pitch their innovative ideas to a panel of judges, with the winner receiving a cash prize.

2. Launch of the Inland Empire Chapter of the National Academy of Inventors

The kick-off event will also feature the launch of the Inland Empire Chapter of the National Academy of Inventors. The chapter aims to promote and recognize inventors and innovators in the region, focusing on supporting the commercialization of innovative technologies.

3. The Innovation Month Fast Pitch Finale

The Innovation Month Fast Pitch Finale, taking place on April 27th from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, will be the culminating event of the month-long celebration. The finale will showcase the top entrepreneurs and innovators from the region, who will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and compete for cash prizes and other awards.

Riverside County Fast Pitch Finale in Riverside total awards will be over $15,000.
