Riverside, California, 10/30/2023 – FedTech, in collaboration with the US Navy and the Inland Empire Tech Bridge, is proud to announce the launch of Crucible Startup Studio, its groundbreaking innovation program dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in the Inland Empire and Southern California region.
The Crucible Startup Studio aims to build startups and companies from the ground up by matchmaking people and teams with technologies sourced from federal or university labs to solve a problem related to national security and regional challenges.
You are invited to register to attend a virtual information session or in-person mixer to learn about tips for applying to the Crucible Startup Studio! During these sessions, you will learn about the many benefits of the program and how/when to apply.

Key Dates
- Virtual Sessions: October 31st and November 2nd at 12:30 PM PT (attend one or both).
- In-person mixer (Downtown Riverside): November 9th at 5:30 PM PT.*
*If you apply to the Crucible Startup Studio before or at the November 9th mixer, you will receive a complimentary drink ticket, making this event even more exciting.
Who should attend?
We welcome applicants from any background or stage in their professional journey – this is a unique opportunity to de-risk becoming a startup founder – we do not require you to leave your day job, have a full-time job currently, or pay any fees or equity.
If you have an open mind and are up for the challenge, we invite you to apply and make this a reality through our Crucible Startup Studio program!
During this program, you’ll be matched with a technology and a team and embark on a journey to commercialization. You’ll be led through two phases of workshops, culminating in a final pitch event.
