California’s five containerized ports have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Sacramento, launching the California Port Data Partnership. The agreement outlines a joint effort to advance computerized and cloud-based data interoperability to support improved freight system resilience, goods movement efficiency, emissions reduction, and economic competitiveness. The partnership will serve as the basis of cooperation for the $27M in grant funds from GO-Biz for port data system development.
